Cooperatively-owned housing for working families.

Long-term renters on the 800 block of Almaden have organized to buy their tract from their absentee Bay Area landlord, Sharon Prager. Donors have pledged the market-rate down payment and we’re in talks with local nonprofits to help establish a land trust / co-op structure. The current owner (who owns five houses) has backed out of negotiations. Friends and neighbors are defending the space from law enforcement until we win. We are so close to our goal, join us and make a real difference!
